The College of Arts and Humanities took a group of about 40 students on a field trip on Feb. 1 to the Getty Museum in Los Angeles as part of its new Beyond the Classroom program.
The students had the opportunity to participate in several docent-led tours of the art exhibits and the grounds of the Getty, as well as some free time to roam around and explore the museum.
The goal of the trip was to help students gain a greater appreciation of the arts as well as forge a stronger connection to the university.
