Event encourages students to commit to CSUB this fall

Over 1,000 students who have been admitted to California State University, Bakersfield for this fall got the chance to learn more about the campus as part of Future `Runner Day on Saturday.

The open house-style event included campus tours, school presentations as well as workshops on next steps and how to manage financial aid and scholarships. Ten students were selected to receive $1,000 scholarships as part of the event.

The goal of Future `Runner Day is to get students excited about attending CSUB and encourage them to commit to enrolling this fall.
