Dear Campus Community,
Today, I applaud the Supreme Court’s decision on DACA. I am grateful that the highest court in the land has lived up to our country’s highest ideals of compassion and inclusion, and we as CSUB will to continue to advocate on behalf of equity and justice for all of our students, faculty and staff.
At CSUB, our faculty and staff work with our students to develop promise and potential that changes lives and communities. We believe that access to higher education, as well as equity, diversity and inclusion, are the building blocks for progress and excellence in our region and world.
In December 2019, CSUB opened the Dreamers Resource Center, for members of our undocumented community. Those of us who attended the opening still look back on that day and remember the feeling of solidarity and unity.
CSUB has a number of resources and programs available for Dreamers, including:
CSUB Dreamers Resource Center
The CSUB Dreamers Resource Center is committed to offering a safe, inclusive space for all undocumented students, those from mixed-status families, and their allies. The Dreamers Resource Center maintains the confidentiality of individual students while fostering a welcoming community environment that aligns with our university’s commitment to diversity and inclusion. The Dreamers Resource Center offers a range of programs and services to educate the campus community and support our undocumented students’ access to higher education.
