CSUB celebrates Homecoming Week

California State University, Bakersfield welcomed alumni back to campus last week as part of its Homecoming Week festivities.

The celebration started on Feb. 17 with a kickoff event held at the Student Union patio and wrapped up on Saturday, Feb. 22, with a barbecue and a homecoming dance at the Niles Theater in downtown Bakersfield following the men's basketball game, during which the 2025 homecoming court was crowned.

Other highlights from the week include an ice cream social on Feb. 18, the Alumni Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Feb. 20 and an alumni welcome social at Lengthwise Brewing on Feb. 21.

CSUB also held its Alumni Rising `Runner program prior to Homecoming Week on Feb. 14. Four alumni were recognized for the impact they are making in their career and the community at large.
