As the country takes time to pause and reflect in this week of Thanksgiving, the Department of Music and Theatre at California State University, Bakersfield is proud to present two online fall concert, providing a soundtrack perfect for the occasion, by the talented Chamber Music Duo and Opera Theatre.
Beginning Thursday, Nov. 26 through Saturday, Nov. 28, the Chamber Music Duo will take place with music performed by the CSUB student duo groups.
The Opera Spotlight will also present scenes from: “Don Pasquale,” “Sunset Boulevard,” “Jekyll & Hyde,” “Into the Woods,” “The Barber of Seville,” and “The Magic Flute,” to be directed by Dr. Soo-Yeon Park.
The performances will be performed by CSUB music students: Devin McGee, George Gutierrez, Laura Small, Braden Unruh, Hunter Selbach and Haley Smith with set artwork staged by CSUB theatre students: Heather Sanders, Jacob Cota, Armanda Duke, Natalie Love and Alberto Pelayo.
